I remember Steve as an outstanding Probationer Student during his training to become a member of the elite Royal Army Physical Training Corps. He had a great sense of humour even when training got tough and he could always be relied upon to carry out any task to the very highest standard. Our Corps Family has lost the very finest of Brothers and a man of the higher calibre.

First met Steve at Dover, he was a course above me and made sure I was looked after as we were both from Sheffield, night out in Sheffield where we ran from a taxi... ooops, then to Ripon, sent you the soldier template for ya gate, an all round lovely bloke who will be missed enormously.
